Fungai Ndemera is the visionary founder of The Dreamblazers Academy. She a renowned multi-entrepreneur, angel investor, business mentor, and STEM ambassador, who has achieved remarkable success in her professional journey. As the visionary founder of CheckUp Health, an NHS-approved health AI-driven platform, she has spearheaded a groundbreaking approach to remote monitoring in-home, facilitating seamless connections between patients and clinicians and professionals.
Despite facing significant challenges as an immigrant to the UK with limited English proficiency and education up to the GCSE level and a diploma in nursing, Fungai Ndemera's unwavering determination and entrepreneurial spirit allowed her to surmount these obstacles and emerge as a prominent businesswoman and innovator. In the UK, she currently manages three thriving businesses, showcasing her exceptional acumen and expertise.
Notably, her brainchild, CheckUp Health, has garnered substantial recognition and acclaim within the industry. The platform's contribution to the digital transformation of Primary Healthcare Services in the UK has been acknowledged on the prestigious Tech Innovation Framework. Through her visionary leadership and innovative solutions, Fungai Ndemera continues to drive positive change and make a significant impact in the healthcare sector.

A staunch advocate for representation and diversity, Fungai actively inspires the next generation of tech role models, especially females from diverse backgrounds. Her impactful contributions to the book "The Voice in the Shadow" showcase the journeys of 51 Black women who have left an indelible mark on the UK tech industry. Invited by various organizations, they share their insights on equality and diversity while engaging over 100k subscribers on her YouTube channel and thought leadership blog, fostering an inclusive and empowered tech community. At Dreamblazers Academy, our mission is to empower and uplift the African BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) community sector in the UK through targeted initiatives aimed at improving their economic impact and promoting social inclusion. We strive to reduce poverty and foster economic empowerment within the community by offering networking and skill-sharing events that enhance the effectiveness of this sector. By creating opportunities for increased employment, sustainable economic growth, and the cultivation of partnerships between diverse stakeholders, we work towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals of No Poverty, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequalities, and Partnerships for the Goals. Together, we envision a future where the African BME community thrives, leading to a stronger and more inclusive society for all.
